MANAGER'S WELCOME

It's in front of the cameras and a chance for players to showcase what they are all about, but for us it's also just another football game and we need to approach it the right way

CELEBRITY COACH

Queen's Park FC and club partners Dunns Food and Drinks laid on a special football session for children's charity AWARE Scotland earlier this season.

The bi-annual event was made extra special by the visit of first-team star Louis Longridge.

CAPTAIN'S ARMBAND

In association with QPSA one young fan will receive the captain's armband pitchside post-match.

Ross Hunter was the lucky recipient against Raith Rovers.

Keep an eye out for Euan Murray or Louis Longridge at full-time!

Congratulations to Rocco Friel who scored his first professional goal last week against St Johnstone

ON THIS DAY

WITH FRANK McCROSSAN

1908

Motherwell 3 Queen’s Park 3

On this day 117 years ago, the Spiders were at Fir Park and a little unfortunate to be two goals behind at half-time.

John Leckie pulled a goal back after the break but the home side restored their two-goal advantage.

Queen’s dominated the latter stages of the match and two Harry Paul strikes earned a well-deserved draw in Lanarkshire.

SPIDERS QUIZ

OPPOSITION WATCH

Callum Davidson will be on familiar ground this evening, if not a familiar dugout.

The former Queen's Park head coach took charge of the Spiders six times at The city Stadium during his reign - each a cup tie.

Callum joined Ross County as assistant to Tony Docherty shortly before our meeting in September.
