On this day 151 years ago, Queen’s Park won their second Scottish Cup, against a very physical Renton side at the West of Scotland Cricket Ground in Partick. After a goalless opening half, Angus McKinnon headed Queen’s into the lead on 60 minutes. Tom Highet doubled the advantage after a great passage of play. With three minutes remaining, Willie Mackinnon sealed victory with a fine finish.
