v GREENOCK MORTON

MANAGER'S WELCOME
We went on a very good run at home, and the fans played their part in that. If we can get another run it would be amazing but first and foremost we need to compete against Morton and the fans can help with that.

ON THIS DAY
Saturday 21 February 1914 - Airdrieonians 1 Queen’s Park 1
Today 112 years ago, Elijah Cresswell was on target as Queen’s Park drew 1-1 with Airdrie in the Scottish Cup third round at Broomfield. The Spiders were 2-1 winners in the replay at Hampden the following Tuesday.
The attendances at the two matches were quite something. There was a “disappointing” attendance of 15,000 at Broomfield and no less than 42,000 at Hampden for the replay.

CAPTAIN'S ARMBAND
In association with QPSA one lucky young fan will receive today's captain's armband post-match, like Joseph Paterson did against Raith Rovers.
Look out for Euan Murray or Louis Longridge at full-time.
PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to Seb Drozd who scooped January's Player of the Month award in association with Buck's Bar, taking almost 70 percent of the votes
