A crowd of 5000 saw Queen’s Park meet today’s opponents Ayr United in the Scottish League First Division 101 years ago today.

Queen’s took the lead on 20 minutes with a Tom Noble strike in off the post. However the home side equaliser through Jimmy McLeod with only one minute remaining.
